Love is in the air! We’ve been looking into the most romantic – as well as fun – places to spend your Valentine’s Day in Orlando. Orlando comes with so many options and the wrong decision could prove heart-breaking but don’t worry. We’ve done all the heavy lifting for you; all you have to do is see what tickles your fancy and make a reservation before everyone else does.
Let’s start off with some amazing Valentine’s Day restaurants in Orlando. We’re blessed with so many great ones (why else did you move into the Aria!) so let’s dive in.
At the pricier end, the Bull & Bear is offering up a menu that includes wild-caught Halibut, Lobster Tail, NY Sirloin. It’s approximately $140 per person and wine pairings are available.
The Tapa Toro restaurant has a prix fixe menu for just $65 per person and includes dancing. Presumably that’ll be you – not the food!
You should also check out the Highball & Harvest and their southern-inspired Sweetheart specials and love potions (unique cocktails created especially for the occasion). There’s also the option of pre-ordering roses and champagne for your table before you get there which will make a lovely surprise for your other half.
And how’s this for romantic: the Harbor Nights Romantico at Lowes Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando? It’s a wine/food/music event that’s set to capture all the ambience of the Mediterranean under the twinkling lights of the Harbor Piazza.
Another way to spend Valentine’s Day in Orlando is at any of the numerous events taking place. This one really leaps off the page: The Blind Date, An Artistic Adventure For Couples presented by DRIP. Running from Feb 3-25, it allows you to celebrate Valentine’s Day in Orlando in a whole new way, featuring interactive stations, flying water, colored sand and dancing.
If you want to strike a quieter tone, the Emil Buehler Perpetual Trust Planetarium is hosting Heavenly Love: Love Stories From The Night Sky on Friday, Feb 10th with two shows; one at 7pm and the second at 8:30pm.
And if you’ve got a sweet tooth – and who doesn’t? – Orlando Brewing is offering up a very unique spin on pairings. It’s the Valentine’s Day Beer & Chocolate Pairing event, including four locally made organic beers and four locally made gourmet chocolates!
The Cloak & Blaster are also joining in the fun and has something pretty unique on tap; a Valentine’s Pajama Party! Put on your PJs and head on over for all-night cartoons and breakfast food specials.
But if you just want to sit back and laugh, then maybe this is for you: The SAK Comedy Lab is hosting a 90-minute version of their popular improv show – so come with some funny, unique ideas prepared!
Valentine’s Day in Orlando is going to be special, sweet and – in some cases – silly. So whether you’re in a relationship or not, get out and enjoy yourself. back
